Amnesia- A New Faith

     Beer Purkhako Santan Hoa Timi
An Elegy to Amnesia

You are the children of your brave ancestors
The earth is wet with your sweat and blood
Let you take the enlightened path of your ancestors and lead by setting some proud examples
To count among those who took care of the welfare of life and this earth

To value the simple Daurosurwal*
With a Dhaga Topi* on one’s head, a Khukuri* wrapped to one’s waist
Wearing clarity and fearlessness on your chests
Let you march ahead towards  light

Let you be together, work together as one human tribe
Man and nature hand in hand
Let you etch and pass down the story of your nation and soil
You are the children of your brave ancestors
